Whilst developing our casein fibres from milk protein. We noticed all of our pages in the lab notebooks were sticking. A quick google revealed that casein glues were popular for the period before the polymer revolution. Casein glues and resins were used on the wings and joints of early fighter planes and were the adhesive of choice for a lot of cabinetry and instrument assembly.
The world doesn't need a stronger glue. We have been developing this glue for specialist use cases. Our focus is developing a natural glue that is steam reversible and cleanable. This will be relevant to instrument makers and specialist woodworkers who need a glue that can be repositioned.
Our approach remains fibres. However, we are working with customers and conducting test sales of our casein glues to gain some feedback. The button below will take you to our Amazon page where we are selling our test glues.
